FABULOUS HIKE TO CHOQUEQUIRAO 04 DAYS 03 NIGHTS

The archeological monument of Choquequirao, which means golden cradle, is located in a forest of clouds between the rivers Apurimac, Urubamba and the majestic snow-capped Salkantay; It is an Inca city, a haven for the tenth sixth resistance movement Inca who were trying to regain control of the Spanish conquistadors Tahuantinsuyo. The ruins show that the city was abandoned suddenly. You can see temples of the Sun, the Earth, real residences, dormitories for mitimaes and residences for farmers. Arriving at Choquequirao is a wonderful experience since it lies lonely and lost among the clouds of his past greatness.
